and thus hope to avoid the third degree?
He complains that they him “misunderestimate”
and swears he’s learning to conjugate.
He reminds us that he was at Yale
and of their remedial classes he can avail.
Because, he says, “this is historic times”
we should not be so concerned with rhymes.
He brags he’s “a master of low expectations”
and is sure he’ll be forgiven his idiomatic aberrations.
